GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. -- Lieutenant Colonel Mark Weber joined us on the KARE Saturday show to talk about his new book titled Tell My Sons.

Weber is a Minnesota native who served 23 years in the US Army.  He first began writing the book after being diagnosed with stage 4 intestinal cancer.

The book is a letter to his sons about what his life-and-death story had taught him, a letter about courage and fear, challenge and comfort, words and actions, pride and humility, seriousness and humor, and a never-ending search for new ideas and inspiration.

However, this book is not just for his sons, but for anyone looking for the best last advice a dying hero has to offer.

The book can be found at select book stores and at many online retailers including at Beaver's Pond Books which will include a free audio book narrated by the author, Lt. Col. Mark Weber, with every purchase of the book.

You can also preview the book online at tellmysons.com.

Lt. Col. Mark Weber currently lives in Rosemount with his wife Kristin and their three sons.
