GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. -- Dan Butler, executive director and co-founder, and Chimgee Haltarhuu, coach, from Circus Juventas joined KARE Saturday to talk about their upcoming trip.
Circus Juventas is a non-profit youth performing arts circus school based in St. Paul. The school offers circus arts training and performance opportunities to children and youth up to age 21. With a focus on discipline, hard work, and respect the school offers its students a safe and non-competitive environment to learn acrobatics, balance, aerial, juggling, and theatre skills.
Circus Juventas recently held a World Circus Day in St. Paul to raise money for Mission Manduhai. They raised $10,000 towards the Mission which helps educate those living in remote areas of Mongolia on how to prevent abuse and how to survive domestic violence.
Mission Manduhai will travel to western Mongolia this year after Circus Juventas performs their big summer show. For more information on Mission Manduhai visit their webpage.
