This week the free outdoor summer concert series in St. Paul's Mears Park features Fort Wilson Riot opening for Communist Daughter. Head downtown to celebrate the launch of Made Here, the largest art in storefronts initiative in the country, and The Parklot Pop-up park as part of activating the downtown Minneapolis Cultural District. The 2014 Cities 97 Basilica Block Party celebrates its 20th anniversary this week. Headliners include Panic at the Disco, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros and Train.

The two-day outdoor concert is at the Basilica of Saint Mary in Downtown Minneapolis.

All Star week kicks off on Friday with the T-Mobile FanFest. Billed as the largest interactive baseball theme park in the world. For five days, baseball fans have the opportunity to listen to local broadcasts, meet MLB Legends and obtain free autographs. Fans can also participate in baseball training drills, test out their batting skills in the All-Star batting cages, view hometown memorabilia and artifacts from Twins' history.
