Once: A New Musical

Once is the celebrated new musical based on the Academy Award-winning film telling the story of an Irish musician and a Czech immigrant drawn together by their shared love of music. Once, winner of eight Tony Awards including Best Musical and winner of the 2013 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, makes its Minneapolis premiere at Hennepin Theatre Trust's Orpheum Theatre. MSP International Film Festival

For film buffs, this is like being a kid in a candy store. The MSP International Film Festival has grown into the largest film event in the region, and one of the longest running festivals in the country. More than 200 feature length and short form narrative and documentary films from 60 plus countries will be featured. Many of the films will be showing at the St. Anthony Main cinemas. Mason Jennings

Minneapolis-based singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Mason Jennings will be playing a hometown show with Iris DeMent at the State Theatre. Jennings' indie-folk album, Always Been, was released in November 2013 to great reviews.
