Special 'Prince' concert to be held at Target Center

Prince will be coming to the big screen at Target Center.
A petition to replace a Christopher Columbus statue with a Prince statue is gaining steam in Minnesota.

MINNEAPOLIS - Prince will be back in concert this April -- in video form, of course.

Paisley Park has announced an event they're calling, "PRINCE: Live on the Big Screen" at the Target Center on April 21 at 8 p.m.

The concert will feature "newly remastered and never-before-released" audio and video of Prince, accompanied live on the Target Center stage by a group of musicians who performed alongside the legendary singer throughout his career.

The concert is said to highlight CELEBRATION 2018 -- a four-day event honoring the life and legacy of Prince that takes place April 19-22. Individual tickets to PRINCE: Live on the Big Screen will go on sale starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 20.

For the latest updates on the performers to appear and details for the CELEBRATION event, follow Paisley Park on social media or visit OfficialPaisleyPark.com.
