MINNEAPOLIS - On Saturday, family and friends will gather to celebrate Minneapolis singer-songwriter, Jack Pearson.

The artist spent decades entertaining kids and adults with his whimsical songs about living life to its fullest. Pearson died suddenly in January, far too young, at the age of 63.

In May last year, KARE 11 photojournalist Ben Garvin got Jack and his daughter, Kari Pearson, to sit down and just talk. This is their story.

The celebration of Pearson’s life is Saturday, May 6 at 2 p.m. at St. Joan of Arc Church in Minneapolis. All are welcome.
