GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Experts say millions of veterans nationwide suffer from chronic debilitating pain post tour of duty.
Local band, “Maiden Dixie”, is reaching out to help America’s brave men and women by donating its time and music to various philanthropic ventures.
Band members Jonathan and Channing Krentz recently co-wrote a new song titled “New Again”. The husband and wife appeared on KARE 11 to talk about the band’s huge fundraising effort which is dear to Jonathan, who’s an Iraq veteran.
“New Again” is now available on iTunes. All proceeds benefit Pain Free Patriots, a non-profit organization that provides medical grants for effective treatment to help relieve chronic pain for military veterans. “Pain Free Patriots” has treated more than 500 veterans in the last five years, with a nearly 100% success rate.
