GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Holidays can be very challenging for adults and youth struggling with substance abuse. However, help is available.

Melissa Fors, with the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, appeared on KARE 11 to discuss how people struggling with alcohol and drug addictions can successfully navigate family holiday gatherings without risking their sobriety.

The Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation is a major source of healing and hope for individuals, families and communities affected by addiction to alcohol and other drugs.

This month the foundation is offering a free webinar. “Mom to Mom: Facing the Holidays When Your Child Is Addicted” is Friday, December 15 at 10 a.m.
