GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - There's lots to do this weekend around the metro! Here's What's Up:
Artists and art lovers look forward to this weekend all year: Art-A-Whirl in Northeast Minneapolis. Artists are opening up their studios to showcase their work at over 50 locations. An estimated 40,000 people are expected to attend this year. The events starts Friday and run through Sunday.
The Twins host the Royals Friday at 7:10, and again Saturday and Sunday at 1:10 at Target Field.
The St. Paul Saints are at home all weekend as well, and Sunday you can actually bring your dog to the ballpark!
Also, Minnesota United FC is at home against the L.A. Galaxy Sunday at TCF Bank Stadium. The match starts at 4:10.
Global Salsa Cook-off
Salsa is the name of the game at Midtown Global Market on Saturday; they're hosting the Global Salsa Cook-off. Eight vendors will be competing for the title of "Best Salsa" from noon to 3:30, and for $4 bucks you can taste them all. They're also offering free salsa dancing lessons!
Gluten Free Allergy Fest

Marita told us about the Gluten Free Allergy Fest is happening Saturday and Sunday at the Minneapolis Convention Center. There will be food samples and cooking demonstrations for people who already eat gluten-free - or are thinking about it. One day passes for adults are $15.
Also from Facebook, Thom told us about the "Broadway Songbook" running at the Ordway in St. Paul through Sunday. The show's a chance to learn more about how Hollywood and Broadway have influenced each other. There are shows Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Tickets start at $37.
