Good news for women who hate wearing heels! The trends are finally in your favor as more and more women are ditching their heels for more comfortable options like tennis shoes.
Sales of women's sneakers are up 37 percent in the last year, according to NPD Group's retail tracking service. It also found sales of high heels are down 12 percent.
Experts attribute this change to a number of factors, including the rise of fitness trackers like Fitbit that make people more aware of how much they're moving, and the increased number of people walking to work or working from home, according to The Washington Post.
