GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - This holiday season, you can give a pet in its final stage of life a place to rest.
Secondhand Hounds' hospice foster program, Forever Loved, is for elderly and unadoptable dogs. The animals are usually senior and terminally ill with slim chances of adoption.
The program is looking for hearts and homes to give the dogs a place to live out their final days. Secondhand Hounds covers all medical bills.
Secondhand Hounds is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue founded in Minnesota in July 2009 that provides safe shelter, proper veterinary care and daily necessities for animals at risk, while working hard to find each a permanent, loving home.
