MINNEAPOLIS - Some of the Twin Cities’ most eligible bachelors and bachelorettes are hitting the runway to raise money for a great cause on March 1.

The tenth annual “Date for Life” will rock The View at Minneapolis Event Center on Thursday with live music, cocktails and appetizers. The highlight of the night is a chance to bid on a “date” with local singles who are donating their time and paying for the dates! 100% of the money raised from the evening goes directly to the Children's Cancer Research Fund.

"Date for Life" was started by Lynn Poferl from It’s Just Lunch Minneapolis, in memory of her daughter Katie, who died from childhood cancer.

The event starts at 6 p.m. on Thursday. Click here for details.
