GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. – The newest film on the Omnitheater at the Science Museum of Minnesota is taking us closer than ever to the wildlife of West Papua, New Guinea.
“Journey to the South Pacific” takes a look at the most diverse ocean environment on Earth and the island community that’s committed to protecting it. According to the Science Museum, it’s the first time the island nation of West Papua, New Guinea has been featured in a film.
Kim Ramsden, Communications Director at the Science Museum, stopped by KARE 11 at 4 to talk about it.
The film runs daily during regular museum hours through September.
Tickets are $9.95 for adults and $8.95 for kids.
