ART ON THE LAKE
It’s Art on the Lake along Lake Minnetonka in Excelsior. You can buy art and enjoy food and music both Saturday and Saturday. You can find more information here.
ART IN THE DARK
If you want to pull an all-nighter - the Northern Park starts at sunset Saturday night and runs until sunrise on Sunday. The festival explores the effects of climate change through different artistic displays. It all happens in neighborhoods along Metro Transit's Green line. You can find more information here.
SCULPTURE GARDEN RE-OPENS
After some controversy that delayed it a week, the Walker Art Center re-opens its newly renovated Sculpture Garden on Saturday. The official ribbon cutting is at noon, followed by free guided tours, food trucks and more! You can find more information here.
GOLDEN VALLEY PRIDE
Our own Jana Shortal is hosting this year's Golden Valley Pride Festival! The celebration of the LGBTQ community is Sunday at Brookview Park. A performance by members of the Twin Cities Gay Men's Chorus is scheduled, along with a Pride Color Run. You can find more information here.
