GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - January is National Blood Donor Month recognizing millions of blood donors who have helped save countless lives.

KARE 11 is doing its part as well with another blood drive.

Ron Woldengen visited KARE 11 Sunrise to talk about is long history of donating. Woldengen has donated almost 100 gallons of blood on his own over time.

If you want to come by the KARE 11 Blood Drive, it's on Friday, Jan. 3 and benefits the American Red Cross.

The drive will take place from 2 to 8 p.m. at KARE 11 in Golden Valley (8811 Olson Memorial Highway). Walk-ins are welcome, but pre-registration is also available.
