GOLDEN VALLEY, |Minn. - This recipe is one of many that Belinda's mother in law, Kitty, has shared with her. It's a real crowd-pleaser and great for any Super Bowl party!
Belinda Jensen's Crab-Swiss Bites
Ingredients:
½ lb. “imitation crab” (or real crab) finely chopped
1 cup of grated Swiss cheese
½ cup of mayonnaise
1 Tbsp. sliced green onion
1 tsp. of lemon juice
½ tsp. of curry powder
1 (5 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
1 (10 oz.) pkg. refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
Preparation:
Heat oven to 400 degrees. In a small bowl combine crab, cheese, mayo, green onion, lemon juice and curry powder; mix until well blended. Separate biscuits; divide each biscuit in half crosswise, forming 2 thin biscuits. Divide crab mixture evenly onto biscuits; top each with 3 slices water chestnut. Place on greased baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes until biscuits are lightly browned.
