GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - The award-winning restaurant Travail will be celebrating New Year's Eve inspired by the Pacific Rim.

Travail's Mike Brown and Bob Gerkin stopped by with a preview.

They will be cooking on a konro grill with four stations set up. The stations will feature chicken, clams, salmon and Filipino meatballs.

They will also be roasting a whole pig and unlimited beer and bubbly with your ticket. There will be signature Tiki drinks available for purchase all night. There will also be party games with prizes. There will even be heated tents set up in the parking lot.

There are two ticketed events at Travail that evening. The first is 5:30-8:30 p.m. and the second will be the Luau party from 8:30 p.m. to midnight.

Recipe for Pineapple Glaze for grilling meat:

Pineapple Glaze
Pineapple Juice- 2 cups
Carrot Juice- 1 cup
Ginger Juice- ½ cup
Onion Juice- ½ cup
Brown Sugar- ½ cup
Rice Wine Vinegar- ¼ cup
Tomato Juice- ¼ cup
mix all together over medium heat and reduce by half

Chicken
Cut into quarter sized pieces, grate 4 pieces of garlic and 4 shallot over it, 2 tbls soy sauce, ¼ tsp of sesame oil, ¼ tsp white pepper, ¼ tsp salt, chill overnight in the fridge. put it on your sticks and grill it! After cooking on the grill brush glaze on the chicken
