Mixologist Mike Gharrity with the Exchange and Alibi Lounge in downtown Minneapolis shared five things you should always have in your home bar so you're ready for those unexpected holiday guests. And don't forget the 'mocktails' for those who prefer to not drink alcohol and the kids.

  • Scotch
  • Aged Rum
  • Piney Gin
  • Sweet Vermouth
  • Orange Bitters

Rob Roy

2 oz Blended Scotch

.75 oz Quality Sweet Vermouth

2 dashes orange bitters

Garnish with a Brandied Cherry and Served in a Low Ball Glass
