MINNEAPOLIS -- When it comes to sharing how much money you make, most people don't like to discuss the numbers.

In fact, 1 in 5 Americans refuse to tell anyone how much they earn. The shocking part? That includes spouses and partners!

The financial firm Aspiration found of those who do give away that information, 45 percent do it when they move in with someone. 10 percent of people wait for marriage.
