MINNEAPOLIS - One person has died after a three-alarm fire in south Minneapolis.
Around 3:15 p.m., authorities were called to the 4100 block of Beard Avenue South. The Minneapolis Fire Department stated the home was fully engulfed when they arrived. Originally, two-alarms were placed until a third was requested.
One male was pulled from the second floor and at approximately 4:20 p.m., authorities confirmed that person had died.
"Just wonderful people. Funny. Caring. Really nice," one neighbor said about the victim and his family.
Neighbors say both people living in the home are attorneys in Minneapolis. One works inside the home, the other outside the home.
