MINNEAPOLIS - Police are investigating a shooting in Uptown.

Officers say the incident happened around 11 p.m. in the 3000-block of Lyndale Avenue South, just off Lake Street.

Minneapolis Police say the incident started between a group of people earlier in the night in a different area but later escalated to shots fired on Lyndale Avenue South.

Police say one man was found in the street with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. He was taken to HCMC for treatment. A restaurant in the area did have a window shot out as a result of the incident.

No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to call Minneapolis Police.
