BURNSVILLE, Minn.--The Sixteenth Annual SUBWAY Bedrace for Bridging event will be racing down Buck Hill on Saturday, March 1 starting at 5:00 p.m. Teams of four are invited to come out and race in specially covered mattresses that will be provided on site.

Participants are encouraged to collect donations. One hundred percent of registration fees and donations benefit Bridging, a Bloomington-based non-profit organization that supports more than 5,000 families transitioning out of homelessness and poverty each year. By providing furniture and household goods to families and individuals in need, Bridging gives hope to thousands.

Participants must be at least 18-years-old. Teams are encouraged to dress creatively and compete in the Cities 97 Costume Contest.

Online registration is available. Registration will also be available at the event. Check-in and registration will begin at 3:00 p.m.
