CAMBRIDGE, Minn. -- A group of Minnesota soldiers received the best Christmas gift Sunday. They held their babies for the first time.

More than a dozen babies were born while their parents were overseas with the 850th Horizontal Engineer Company. The company spent the past eight months in Afghanistan working on supply routes and clearing mine fields.

The 140 soldiers from with the company were welcomed home at Cambridge-Isanti High School. KARE Photojournalist Lee Wall was there for the emotional reunion.
