MINNEAPOLIS - Police in Minneapolis are investigating a fatal shooting.
Just before 1 p.m. Thursday, police responded to the 3600 block of 4th Street North. Officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to North Memorial Medical Center and was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Just blocks away, a speeding vehicle that may have been involved in the shooting was stopped by Hennepin County Sheriff's Office deputies that happened to be in the area serving warrants.
Two people in the vehicle were immediately taken into custody. A third suspect ran from police but was captured a short time later with the assistance of a K-9 unit.
