FRIDLEY, Minn. - Four people have been arrested in connection to the attack and stabbing of two 21 year old men in Fridley on Saturday morning.

Two men, ages 20 and 25, and two women, both age 22, have been taken into custody by Fridley police officers.

Police found the victims near 77th Avenue and Main Street at about 4:25 a.m. Both were in critical condition at area hospitals on Saturday afternoon. The status of Anthony McCollum, 21, of Hilltop, has not changed. Yani Singh, 21, of Columbia Heights, has regained consciousness, police said.

Police said that the two men had been attacked nearby and drove to that location after fleeing their attackers. The driver was conscious and gave some information while the passenger was non-responsive, police said.

The driver told police he and his friend were at the Two Stooges Sports Bar and Grill in Fridley until closing time. They had met two women at the bar and agreed to give them a ride to the area of Mississippi Street and University Avenue in Fridley.

The suspects fled the area as did the two women, police said.

The incident remains under investigation by the Fridley Police Department and the Anoka County Sheriff's Office. Anyone with information is asked to call 763-427-1212.
