ROSEVILLE, Minn. - An attentive Ramsey County Sheriff's Office deputy, who happened to read the original KARE article, located a stolen Courage Kenny ski equipment trailer Wednesday afternoon.

Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute tells KARE 11 the trailer was found in Little Canada, about three miles north Lake Owasso in Roseville. That's where the trailer was parked and stolen sometime over the weekend. The deputy found it along the side of a road, with all the ski equipment inside.

Program organizers say the trailer and its contents are valued at between $15,000 and $20,000.

The adaptive water skiing team from Courage Kenny had an event scheduled for Wednesday night. At this time, it remains canceled but program manager Eric Larson says the show will go on July 10 at Medicine Lake in Plymouth.

Larson says there are about 40 skiers in the program and more than 30 people who volunteer.

The trailer and equipment are valued at $30,000.
