MN man pulled over with 476 pounds of pot

A North Dakota State Trooper pulled over two men Sunday after a traffic violation and found nearly 500 pounds of pot in the car. One of those men is from Minnesota.
A trooper found 476 pounds of marijuana inside a car pulled over for a traffic violation Sunday. 

JAMESTOWN, N.D. - Stutsman County authorities say they seized 476 pounds of marijuana during a weekend traffic stop on Interstate 94 in southeastern North Dakota.

Sheriff Chad Kaiser tells KQDJ radio that men from Minnesota and Wisconsin were stopped for a traffic violation Sunday just after 9 a.m. and subsequently arrested after a search of their vehicle.

Nhia Lee of St. Paul is one of two men facing charges after being pulled over hauling 476 pounds of marijuana through North Dakota.

Nhia Lee of St. Paul and Bee Thor of Oshkosh, Wisconsin are charged with felony and misdemeanor drug possession. They appeared in court Monday and applied for public defenders.

Both men remain in custody in the Stutsman County Jail.
