MINNEAPOLIS - The Gophers men's basketball team will wrap up it's regular-season with a matchup with Penn State on Sunday.

While the team doesn't want to overlook anybody, they have their sights set on making noise in the Big Ten tournament.

"They are excited about the opportunity to potentially win a championship next week," said coach Richard Pitino. "When conference tournament season comes around, you got an opportunity. You win a couple of games, you get a ring.

While the team might be excited about what lies ahead, they aren't overlooking Penn State. The Nittany Lions are 15-15 this season and 6-11 in conference. The Gophers are only a game up on Penn State with a 7-10 record.

The Gophers are currently tied for 7th place in the Big Ten with Indiana.

The Gophers and Nittany Lions tip off at 4:15 p.m. on Sunday at The Barn.
