THIEF RIVER FALLS, Minn. - Minnesota-based Arctic Cat is recalling a popular snowmobile over concerns a fuel leak could cause it to catch fire.

The Consumer Product Safety Comission (CPSC) issued the recall on 2014 Arctic Cat 500 Sno Pro snowmobiles with model numbers S2014ACCPRUSG and S2014ACCPRPVG Tuesday.The snowmobiles are green with SNO PRO, TEAM ARCTIC, and 500 printed on the front sides of the snowmobile, while the name ARCTIC CAT is printed on the rear sides of the snowmobile. The model number is located in the owner's manual.

Consumers impacted should stop using the recalled snowmobiles immediately and contact an Arctic Cat dealer to schedule a free repair. Arctic Cat is also contacting customers directly.
