Pears: the forgotten fall fruit

Pears aren’t just a dessert ingredient--they are wonderful in savory recipes like pizza!

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — Around these parts people think of fall as apple season. Meanwhile, the apple’s quieter cousin the PEAR gets all but ignored. The folks at Coborn's think that needs to change. They say these soft, juicy, and sometimes overlooked orchard fruits are a seasonal treat not to be missed.
