Best Buy is offering another incentive to help working parent employees: Backup child care.

The company announced the newest employee benefit on its corporate blog Monday, stating the effort is in partnership with Care@Work by Care.com.

All employees, both part-time and full-time, will be eligible to receive 10 days of subsidized care each year for a small co-pay.

Best Buy has already launched paid caregiver leave and will launch enhanced mental health resources and paid time off for part-time employees in 2019, according to the blog.

The backup child care service will provide care for an employee's children, at home or in a center, while the parent is at work. All caregivers are highly screened and interviewed, undergo background checks and are certified in first aid and CPR.

Best Buy states the child care service is available to help in situations when school or day care is closed for the day, a nanny is on vacation, is sick or leaves unexpectedly, or if there's a gap in regular child care arrangements.

Employees can receive the 10 backup care days each year for a copay of $10 per day, which covers up to 10 hours of care at a center, or at the employee's home for multiple children.
