Serving Our Troops: A salute to MN soldiers and their families, from St. Paul to Kuwait

Troops overseas and their loved ones back home share a special meal together on May 25th.

PLYMOUTH, Minnesota — May is 'National Military Appreciation Month'. To thank our brave men and women for their sacrifice and service to our country, the families of Minnesota soldiers will enjoy a free steak dinner in conjunction with an overseas meal served to troops deployed to Kuwait. Both events will be linked via a live international video.

Serving Our Troops hopes to serve its 100,000th steak dinner Saturday, May 25, 2019 at the Saint Paul RiverCentre in Saint Paul. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. for military families. A special program will follow at 10 a.m. If you are a family member of a Minnesota National Guard soldier deployed to Kuwait with the 34th Red Bull Infantry Division, there is still time to register for the event.

Go to the Serving Our Troops website and click on the RSVP for the May 25th Event tab and enter your soldier’s name. Serving Our Troops was formed in 2004 by a group of community and business leaders, with a common interest in supporting those who put themselves in harm's way, so that we may enjoy all that is great about our America.
