MINNEAPOLIS - Minneapolis police said two people were injured in a shooting late Wednesday night.

Officers were alerted to the shooting by a ShotSpotter activation in the 2800 block of Humboldt Avenue North just before midnight. When officers arrived on the scene, they found a 22-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to North Memorial Health Hospital in critical condition.

Police said a second man later checked into the hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg from the same incident.

Officers have not released any suspect information, as they continue to investigate the scene.
