MINNEAPOLIS – Driving through flooded streets has become this summer's norm.

"What are ya gonna do about it," said Bryan Meyer who lives in Uptown. "Mother Nature has her own ideas.

Meyer spent Saturday directing traffic around a massive pond that had formed along Aldrich Avenue. The water was deep enough to kayak through.

"Why not have a little fun," he chuckled.

Nearly every Metro county was under flash flood warnings on Saturday soaking communities that are desperate for a dry spell.

Law enforcement continues to remind motorists not to drive or walk through flood waters.
