Two firefighters injured battling St. Paul house fire

48 firefighters were helping to battle the flames for nearly four hours.

ST PAUL, Minn. — The St. Paul Fire Department said two firefighters were injured while battling a house fire on Saturday morning.

A St. Paul fire department spokesperson tells KARE 11 the firefighters' injuries were not life threatening.

The fire was reported just after 7:00 a.m. on the 1000 block of Bush Avenue in St. Paul. According to a tweet by the St. Paul Fire Department, there were 48 firefighters on the scene for about four hours.

The fire department said the fire remains under investigation. The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental. Four people were displaced by the fire, including three adults and one child.
