MINNEAPOLIS -- A man has died after an early morning shooting Saturday in Minneapolis, according to authorities.

Police say they responded to a report of a man slumped over inside of a vehicle at the intersection of 48th Avenue North and Bryant Avenue North around 5 a.m.

When they arrived, they discovered the man had been shot. Paramedics from North Memorial Medical Center pronounced him dead.

Officers are going door to door to gather information from residents and will also look at surveillance video.
