MINNEAPOLIS - Saturday marked a special farewell to the Metrodome for Vikings season ticket holders.

Fans got a special walk-through at the 32-year-old stadium.

"Coming down here paying my respects to the old Metrodome," said one fan who says it will be sad to see it go.

The "Last Season, Last Call" event allowed thousands of fans one final chance to take commemorative photos.

Highlights of the tour included a visit to the field, the Vikings ship and the Vikings locker room.

Season ticket holders also got to hear stories from former Vikings greats and watch highlights from some of the most memorable games played inside the stadium.

The Vikings play the Detroit Lions on Sunday at 12 p.m. It will be the final event before deconstruction begins at the stadium.
