MINNEAPOLIS -- Lisa Herr isn't afraid of taking the path less traveled. It's a lesson she's passing on to her fourth and fifth graders at Seward Montessori.

Many have never ridden a bike before so Herr made it her mission to teach them -- 31 kids at different levels.

Biking season may be coming to a close, but is Herr is already planning her next lesson.

"My bigger dream is that every kid in my classroom has their own bike and can either bike to school or their parents can get their bikes to school so that we can do this on a more regular basis," she said.
