EDINA, Minn. - A statue in Edina that went missing -- and had a $1,000 reward for its safe return -- has been found, according to the city.

Officials posted on its Facebook page that the "Dreams of Flight" statue that stood in Centennial Lakes Park was found by a passerby in Richfield.

The $25,000 statue was apparently "dumped' in a yard on the 7200 block of Columbus Avenue.

Police say someone stole the three-foot, 150-pound statue depicting a young girl playing with a toy airplane around noon on June 11.

It was not damaged when found.
