GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Spring is nearly here and for many it's time to start thinking about getting that beach body ready. But it's also the time that those New Year's resolutions start to fall by the wayside.

Fitness guru Chris Freytag has some tips to help you get back on track and Spring into Shape with exercises to firm up your glutes.

1. Go for Reverse lunges. It's the same idea as the forward lunge except you step backwards. Keep your front knee tracking over your shoe and your back knee points down.

2. Squats can give you the lift you want in your buns and help you feel better about the way you look in your jeans. Squats can also improve the mobility in your hips, legs and upper back.

3. The deadlift is a great full-body workout for firming, shaping, and lifting your backside, and you can do it at home or at the gym. Beginners can try it without weights, or you can add weight as you go.
