OAK GROVE, Minn. — The Anoka County Sheriff's Office confirms that three individuals were involved in a one-vehicle, personal injury accident near University Avenue and 229th Avenue NE in Oak Grove around 6:17 p.m., on Friday.
The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead by authorities. Police say, one passenger was treated at the scene and released, while the other passenger was taken to Mercy Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The man who died has been identified by Anoka County officials as 23-year-old Vincent Patrick Switala of St. Paul.
The case remains under investigation by the Anoka County Sheriff's Office.
