EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - Two 15-year-old girls who were sought by authorities after being reported missing have been found in Eau Claire, Wis., according to police.
The girls, Kaitlyn Tucker and Autumn Atchison, were initially reported as runaways by the Roseville Police Department Tuesday night. They asked the public for assistance to locate the girls, who were missing since 10 p.m. on Oct. 3.
At approximately 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, both Tucker and Atchison were located and taken into police custody by officers of the Eau Claire Police Department.
They say a resident in a neighborhood called authorities after seeing the girls "appearing to need assistance."
Authorities say the girls will be reunited with their families in the coming hours.
Both were reported to be in good health.
