BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - A woman has been rescued from the Minnesota River in Bloomington.

Authorities say the Bloomington Fire Department received a report of a vehicle in the river early Thursday.

The woman was the only person in the vehicle and was pulled out of the water about 4 a.m. near the Interstate 35W bridge.

She was taken to a hospital. There's no word on her condition, or what caused the vehicle to veer into the river.
