The "Tackle Cancer" campaign started by the Minnesota Football Coaches Association in 2012 is back for its fourth season. "Tackle Cancer" raises money for cancer research and patient aid through the Randy Shaver Cancer Research and Community Fund.

Participating teams last fall raised $228,000 and a three-year total of $539,000. The MFCA hopes the campaign will exceed $250,000.

Not only are high school teams across the state taking part, but the Gophers will host a "TC" game on Saturday, September 19 at TCF Bank Stadium.

The Vikings will also host a "Tackle Cancer" game Sunday, September 20 at TCF Bank Stadium. Look for the "Tackle Cancer" game in your community.
