MINNEAPOLIS - All-Star festivities kick into high gear Friday when FanFest opens at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

Fans will be able to participate in baseball training drills, live entertainment and a variety of memorabilia displays.

On Thursday morning, KARE 11 got a sneak peak at all the fun while the finishing touches were being done.

Bert Blyleven, who was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2011, offered some one-on-one coaching for young players.

Another popular attraction includes the world's largest baseball. The ball, which was approved by officials with Guinness Book of World Records, has been autographed by baseball legends.

On Friday, fans can purchase one adult ticket and get another free.
