Surly's wordsmith tapped into a list of Minnesota stereotypes so dead-on, it's gone viral.

MINNEAPOLIS - Surly Brewing Company wordsmith Stu Neuman was tasked with tapping into Minnesota culture for our guests.

After a few IPAs, he made a list of apparently dead-on stereotypes. The proof? They've been shared more than 80,000 times in less than a week.

We went around town to see if they resonated with the people we met... and boy, did they ever.
