ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Minnesota Wild have moved defenseman Mike Reilly to Montreal in exchange for a fifth-round draft pick in 2019.

Reilly, 24, had 10 points and two goals for the Wild this season and was a -6 in 38 games played this season.

Reilly was a fourth-round draft pick by Columbus in 2011. With Jonas Brodin due back soon from his broken left hand, Reilly was expendable for the Wild with Nate Prosser, Gustav Olofsson and rookie Nick Seeler also in the mix for the third pair on the blue line.

The Wild waived Chris Stewart on Sunday, who was claimed by Calgary.

Minnesota has not announced any other moves ahead of the NHL trade deadline on Monday.
