INDIANAPOLIS - The Plymouth-New Hope Little League (PNHLL) All Stars moved one step closer to Williamsport Tuesday, finishing pool play at the Midwest Regionals undefeated.

The club wound up the first round of competition with a nail-biting 3-2 victory over the club from Kearny, Nebraska. PNHLL scored earlier victories over teams from Headid, IA: Joplin, MO: and Frontenac, KS.

Next up for the west suburban club are the elimination rounds, which take place Wednesday and Friday. Number one seeded Minnesota squad will again play Kearney, which is seeded fourth. The game is at 2 p.m. CST, and will be broadcast on ESPN2.

Second seeded Rapid City, SD plays the team from Joplin, MO in the other semi-final. The two winners will then match up Friday, to see who moves on to the Little League World Series in Williamsport.
