LAKEVILLE, Minn. - Former Lakeville North hockey star Ryan Poehling will find out his professional hockey future on Friday night.
"I'm definitely excited, I think that is the only word to describe it," Poehling said.
The 18-year-old center is expected to be a first-round pick in the 2017 NHL Draft.
He graduated from high school a year early and joined his twin brothers, Nick and Jack last fall at St. Cloud State.
Poehling scored 7 goals and had 6 assists in 35 games as a freshman for the Huskies.
