GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - The upcoming Hartford and RE/MAX Results Breast Cancer Ride is giving bike enthusiasts and novices alike a chance to give back to the community.
The ride will start on Saturday, Aug. 4, at the Eagan Community Center. The ride ends day one and begins day two at Treasure Island Resort and Casino. The ride will end back at the Eagan Community Center on Aug. 5, between 10 a.m. until the last rider gets crosses the finish line (typically between 3p.m. - 4 p.m.).
This is the fifth year for the two-day fundraising bicycling event and is the only multi-day bicycle ride for breast cancer in Minn.
The money raised by riders and crew goes to pay for meals for those living with breast cancer as well as for breast cancer research and awareness.
There are two benefiting organizations: Open Arms of Minnesota and Susan G. Komen for the Cure Minnesota Affiliate.
